Launches From Asheville March 28, 2006

The Energy at the Crossroads Tour, a campaign being mounted by the Canary Coalition and the Southeast Office of Nuclear Information and Resource Service, will begin its seven state mission on March 28, in Asheville. The tour will bring attention to the imminent and far reaching energy decisions facing state governments and the people of the southeast. Combining information with music and humor the Tour’s focus will be on choosing energy options that support human and environmental health.

The Asheville tour kick-off will include:

Press Conference and presentation of Resolution to the City of Asheville

City Hall on Tuesday March 28th , at 11 am

Energy At The Crossroads – a multi-media presentation

Owen Conference Center, UNCA

Thursday March 30th at 7 pm Open to the public at no charge.
